However, this time bad news comes from Catalonia. The region was hit by a storm, which turned into a large hail. In Girona, hundreds of people were injured, 50 of them were forced to go to the hospital. The city of La Bisbal del Ampurdan was the most affected.

The hail began at 19:30 local time, when many returned home, i.e. were on the street. A 1.5-year-old girl was hit in the head by a huge hailstone. The baby died in the hospital.
