A new type of tourism will appear in Russia

A group of senators submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation a bill on the introduction of the concept of wine tourism (enotourism) in Russia as one of the areas of rural tourism. The document is posted in the electronic database of the lower house of parliament.

Wine tourism involves visiting vineyards, wineries for recreation, familiarization with their activities and (or) participation in agricultural work without deriving material benefits with the possibility of providing services for temporary accommodation, organization of leisure, sightseeing and other services, the document says.

The concept of "wine tourism facilities" – capital construction facilities, non-capital buildings, facilities used to provide wine tourism services.
