Boeing's new contract is impressive, Saudis have placed a giant order
Only the Arab countries have begun to return their large airliners from long stays due to the rapid recovery of passenger traffic after the end of the pandemic, as Boeing announced an agreement to supply 78 Dreamliner aircraft to Saudi Arabian Airlines and Riyadh Air.
At the same time, the first ordered 39 aircraft with the possibility of re-ordering 10 more, the second – 3 9 aircraft with an option to receive another 33 aircraft, according to Interfax.
A contract at a catalog price can reach $37 billion, but airlines usually get big discounts with such a giant order.
