Bulgaria is going to receive 6 million tourists this year

Bulgarian authorities expect up to 6 million tourists to visit its resorts during the summer season open on Saturday. This was announced by its Minister of Tourism Hristo Prodanov, quoted by TASS.

“Preliminary calculations show that about 5.5-6 million tourists will visit Bulgaria during the summer season, we are waiting for guests from Poland, Great Britain, Hungary , Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Serbia and other countries, and also count on Bulgarian tourists. Our country is a safe and peaceful tourist destination,” Prodanov said at a press conference at the Golden Sands resort dedicated to the start of the season.
