Because of the increased mass brawls on the beaches of Sochi, the authorities have stepped up patrols of policemen, Cossacks and vigilantes.

This decree was issued by the head of the city Alexei Kopaygorodsky. The mayor's office notes that joint raids of law enforcement officers, Cossacks and combatants will monitor public order on the beaches.

In total, 114 police officers, the National Guard and representatives of the people's squads, including volunteer athletes, were mobilized for this task .

"Many citizens from different regions of our country come to us to rest. Beaches – the main point of attraction for tourists, and compliance with the requirements of law and order and safety is paramount for them”, & ndash; said the city hall.

In one Adler district, 16 protocols have already been drawn up, 500 liters of alcohol have been seized, and a citizen who is on the federal wanted list has been identified.
