This week, Russians have longer holidays than usual due to the celebration of National Unity Day. On Thursday, November 3, there will be a shortened working day, and from November 4 to 6 – days off.

Many people are thinking about what to do on holidays. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) believes that the best option is to go on a short tour to St. Petersburg.

ATOR experts name 5 reasons to go there for a three-day weekend:

High vacation pay the season is over, the prices for tickets and accommodation in St. Petersburg are now much lower than in summer. Schoolchildren who are now on vacation can be taken on such a tour. There are many children's theaters, exhibitions, quests in St. Petersburg. Right now, many theaters and museums of the Northern capital are preparing new programs for guests. Tourists will be able to spend time culturally and learn a lot of new things. Winter is gradually coming to the city on the Neva.
