Leading Russian media published materials that this winter pensioners from Germany will go to rest in the resorts of the Mediterranean Sea.

The first text about this was released by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), citing to an article in the German tabloid Bild. Then this news was reprinted by Izvestia, RIA Novosti, Russia Today, Sputnik, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Gazeta.ru, MIR TV channel.

Journalists believe that pensioners go to the south for a vacation not from a good life . The true reason is inflation in Germany due to sanctions against Russia and rising heating prices due to a shortage of natural gas. For some, it is more profitable to spend the winter in Tunisia or Turkey than at home.
