The new line has nine stations and passes through the districts of Kagythane, Eyupsultan and Arnavutköy. It takes 24 minutes to drive to Kagytkhane, from there it is easy to get to the city center. According to Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu, many records have been broken during construction. The branch will run the fastest trains, the deepest metro station in the country is also located on the new line. An alarm system will be used for the first time. In the spring, the new line will be connected to other metro stations. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the opening of the line on January 22.
