In March of this year, Uzbekistan and Russia agreed to intensify cooperation in the field of tourism. At the level of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia D. Chernyshenko and Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan A. Abdukhakimov signed an action plan of 20 points, which involves the creation of conditions for the growth of tourist flow between the countries.

On May 18, 2022, the first concrete agreements on the implementation of this plan will be announced in Tashkent. In particular, the leading tour operator in Uzbekistan and Central Asia has reached an agreement with Russia's largest mountain resort Rosa Khutor about special conditions for organizing summer holidays in the mountains of Sochi and on the Black Sea coast for tourists from Uzbekistan this season.

On May 18 at 10.00, the Courtyard by Marriott Tashkent Hotel will host a presentation of new tourism products for residents of Uzbekistan.

After the presentation for journalists, a press briefing will be held on organizing summer holidays for tourists from Uzbekistan in Russia with leading participants in the tourism industry of both countries.
