From April 13 to 16, Thailand celebrates the Thai New Year – Songkran. It is considered a family holiday, so many tourism workers can stay at home with their families and not go to work.
On the other hand, it is on these days that festive parades and performances are held that may be of interest to tourists. Congratulating each other, Thais pour water on those around them to wash away all the negativity of the past year from them.
June 5 in Thailand is Visakha Puja – the full moon in the fifth lunar month of the year. This is one of the most sacred dates in Buddhism, which is considered both the birthday, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. On this day, tourists can see many unusual ceremonies, but they can hardly wait for high-quality service.
On July 28, the birthday of King Rama X is celebrated in Thailand. It is celebrated especially magnificently in Bangkok.
