The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, in an interview with Sputnik, Belarus spoke about the possibilities of mutual tourist exchange.

According to him, memorial complexes dedicated to the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War are of particular interest. In this regard, the development of patriotic tourism is of particular interest.

"There is an intention to conclude an agreement with the Ministry of Education of Belarus so that Belarusian children come to Bashkiria for health improvement, and children from Bashkiria – get acquainted with our common patriotic heritage,” the politician said.

He noted that Bashkiria is interested in resuming direct flights to Minsk. The republic is even ready to subsidize the flight at the initial stage so that it is accessible to citizens.
