The reason for the appearance of strangers is merchant ships that carry ballast water. Scooping it up in the Indian or Pacific Ocean, along with the local flora and fauna, they dump it into the Mediterranean.

Thus, a giant oyster and a Pacific cockerel first appeared off the coast of Italy. In the Eastern Mediterranean (Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Israel), 6 alien poisonous fish (puffers, sea ruff) and new types of jellyfish appeared. Some of them are dangerous not only for other animals, but also for tourists.
