The Consulate General of Japan in Khabarovsk has begun accepting applications for tourist visas for visiting the country by Russian citizens, &nbsp reported ;Interfax at the diplomatic mission.

"Yes, you can apply for a tourist visa as part of a group trip. One of the conditions for issuing a visa is confirmation from the host side – a Japanese travel company”, – said an employee of the visa department of the Consulate General.

According to her, so far there have been no applications from the Russians, but the Consulate General is “very waiting and hope” that there will be.
