Why in Mexico tourists from Russia are no longer welcome
While some European countries are closed for tourists from Russia, others , on the contrary, open. Since January 9, Croatia has started accepting applications from Russians for Schengen visas. And not only in Moscow, but also in 18 other cities of our country.
Against this background, the Mexican migration authorities are increasingly behaving rather harshly with immigrants from Russia. Here is what one of the subscribers of the Emigryceps telegram channel wrote.
“My friend flew to Mexico on January 9 for a vacation via Istanbul (they had return tickets). He flew to Istanbul normally, they boarded a plane to Mexico, there were about 30 Russians on the plane. Immediately upon arrival, all the Russians were arrested, all their belongings, phones were taken away, they were lowered into the basement and kept there for two days, families with children as well. After they were deported back to Istanbul without any explanation.
All this seems to be true. Recently Mexicans fear that the Russians will either remain illegal in the country or try to get into the United States. It is worth noting that this has a basis.
